  The Metro Chamber of Commerce (Metro) is a unique and innovative urban Chamber of Commerce committed to our charter to create and develop economic growth and business opportunities to North Tyler and its surrounding communities.

   Our members benefit from our advocacy support, administrative and back-office support provided by our team of business consultants, workshops and training on supplier diversity certification, professional development, marketing and business development, business growth planning, market research, speaking opportunities and networking events with corporate clients and government agencies, and more. 

  Our focus includes supporting and equipping emerging and aspiring entrepreneurs in the North Tyler community, starting with youth in middle school through high school, and college.   Our services now include resources for Veteran-owned businesses as well. 

  Metro’s emerging Peer-to-Peer Think-Tank Advisory Groups play an instrumental role in identifying initiatives relevant to their respective industries and are our key stakeholders in helping to evaluate the effectiveness of programs, training and resources utilized; as well as to provide recommendations to Executive Director for planning and how Metro can best serve their members.
